DTL 2020 was like no other year – it was an 8-week virtual program where we explored boundaries, healthy relationships, and learned advocacy skills.
DTL Swag has always been important! Although we’ve had some fails in the past this year was a hit, everyone loved the Bandanas at DTL 2019.
The Talent Not Required Show is always a fun and memorable night! DTL 2018 was no different – one performance turned into a giant dance party!

Youth apprentices are a staple of DTL, they are youth from our network who volunteer on the hosting team to ensure the event meets the needs of youth in our network. These are our apprentices for DTL 2016!
The hosting team are the holders of DTL, they set the intention and energy each year and set out to create a retreat that is deeply meaningful for our youth and adult allies – this is the DTL 2014 Hosting Team!
Our Orangeville group Shed the Light’s 2012 Group Presentation – group share backs are a staple of DTL, each year our groups get to share the incredible work they accomplished to learn and celebrate each other!
Fun Fact about DTL 2010: In 2010, our annual youth engagement summer training retreat was rebranded as Disable the Label. Youth from The New Mentality group at Central Toronto Youth Services coined the slogan Disable the Label.
